Is my data really hosted in France?
Yes, 100%. NetExplorer hosts all of your data in two data centers located in the Paris region (Equinix and Zayo). Your files never leave French territory. We own our own infrastructure; we do not outsource to AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Is the free trial really credit card-free?
Yes, no payment information is required to start your 7-day trial. You can create your account, test all features without restriction, and decide at the end if you want to continue. If you don’t subscribe, your account will simply be deactivated at no cost.
Is there a limit on file size or format?
No. NetExplorer Share does not impose any size limits per file or per transfer. You can share files that are several gigabytes in size (CAD drawings, HD videos, ZIP archives, databases, etc.) without any format restrictions.
Is the solution compatible with Outlook?
Yes. NetExplorer offers native connectors for Microsoft Outlook, allowing you to send secure sharing links directly from your email. A Google Drive connector is also available, as well as a REST API for custom integrations.
Does the recipient need to create an account to access the files?
No. Your customers, partners, or service providers access the files via a link, without having to create an account or install anything. Depending on your settings, they may be asked to authenticate using a password or an SMS code; you choose the level of security required.
